Both form and function of a landing page are essential. These particular factors of a site are what seemingly potentials leads may first be drawn to when visiting said website. To start, the form is ultimately how the site flows as a whole or the layout of a web page and its main goal is to create a memorable, illustrative and distinctive experience for the user. On the other hand, function is how the landing page actually works and defines how efficiently a web user is able to navigate through the site.
I believe that the functionality of a landing page plays a larger role than form in most instances. Of course form needs to be taken into consideration when developing a web page, but without a functional site it makes it more difficult to attract new users as well as keeping the customers constantly engaged. Without a properly working landing page, it presents a lack of care, loyalty to customers, and proficiency to all web based users.
