In Walmart, we are all about the local communities in which where we are based and located. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we are aware of the predicaments and difficult situations some of our local communities are facing and are considering possible actions we can take to support our communities.
In response to the struggles and problems people are facing, we decided to launch a new social campaign aimed at providing essential health supplies to local schools and first responders.
How it works
Rounding-up
Our customers now have the option to round up their payment during check-out, as all the proceedings will be automatically donated towards providing personal health supplies to frontline health workers and local communities.
Direct Donation
Walmart is now opening donation registrations for any individuals, all the supplies we received from the public will be distributed to enrolled medical personnel and local organization through our distribution networks.

Food Donation
We are working with Feeding America to launch another social campaign Fight Hunger. Spark Change. (FHSC) online donations early. Through online donations, funds can go directly to Feeding America and its nationwide network of local food banks to meet the increasing demand in the communities they are located.
