When running a website, it is important to track data throughout each interaction that takes place. There are many ways in order to track data, yet an effective and easy way is through placing tags on your site. This tracks user activity and will give an easy understanding of what works vs what does not. Investing time into tags and having the ability to see these sets of data will surely pay off for a company. This knowledge creates a relationship between the users and the ones running the site. Overall this will create more access for users and they will have a better experience. There are lots of things that can be useful for tagging, however each site has ones that would pertain more than others. Things that you can tag include but are not limited to: clicks, views, actions, etc. The trigger to these tags is something the user may click on and will lead them to another page or section of the website.
