Overview:
After reading and viewing both ”reports at a glance” and the “legacy tools and reports” I saw a lot of differences. The information talked about in the current reports was familiar with me, which was easier for me to relate and understand. It involves what we have been working with thus far in the semester. The legacy tools were like big techy works that I did not really understand but was able to get the process and importance of the tools.
Importance:
Both of these attributes are very important in analytics, especially in finding your markets. Current reports is more of a way to track your audience and see what your customers are doing on your site. While the legacy tools is the outside part, using the right URLs, fixing bugs, etc. It is kind of like a virus protection for a computer to the analytics. That was my interpretation of what I read, that could be totally off!
